From Racing.com: Group 1 winner Jonker has been retired to stand at Queensland’s Aquis Farm this spring, it was announced on Monday.

A Stakes-winning two-year-old who trained on to win the G1 Manikato Stakes (1200m) and $1 million Magic Millions Sprint (1200m) as an older horse for Tony Gollan, connections made the call to retire the six-year-old following an autumn campaign in Melbourne.

From Racing.com: Aquis Farm will centralise its stallion roster to Queensland, with president Justin Fung reassuring the industry the operation is here to stay.

The 15-stallion roster, featuring the likes of Pierata and Spieth, will be based at Canungra, ending the breeding operation’s interstate experiment which saw bases in New South Wales and Victoria.
