From Breednet: Every colt that has won the Group I ATC Champagne Stakes since 2000 has been given a shot at commercial stud success by major farms and while their results have been mixed with Pierro a clear standout, the winner of the race in 2017 is probably exceeding expectation this season.
Choisir colt The Mission had 19 starts winning just two of them with his two and a half length win in the Group I ATC champagne Stakes over Invader the highlight in an otherwise fairly average racing career.

The early table-topper is Aquis Farm Canungra’s The Mission, who stood for a 2021 service fee of $8800 (inc GST). The son of Choisir won the G1 Champagne S. at Randwick in 2017.
From Breednet: Thirteen runners with Magic Millions 2yo Classic aspirations made the trip to the Sunshine Coast on Friday for the $75,000 Access Insulation Sunshine Coast QTIS Hcp (1000m), which turned out to be a dogfight between a son and daughter of Aquis Farm’s first season sire The Mission.
From Horse Racing Only: The concept of the Aquis breeder’s bonus, which was originally offered to both announce the presence of the then stud’s new stallion, The Mission, and to keep the focus firmly on the progress of his progeny, has proved to be a resounding success.
From TDN: Mishani Mental became the second winner for Aquis’ first-season sire The Mission when victorious in the Sky Racing H. (1100 metres) at Doomben on Saturday.
From ANZ Bloodstock: Aquis Farm-based first-season stallion The Mission (Choisir) sired his second winner Mishani Mental (2 g ex Mishani Lotus by Octagonal) landed a race over 1110 metres at Doomben yesterday.

From Breednet: Making his fifth start in seven weeks, the 2yo The Mission gelding Mishani Mental broke through for his first win in Saturday’s Sky Racing Hcp (1100m) at Doomben and banked another $100,000 Aquis bonus for owner/breeder Mike Crooks.
From Townsville Bulletin: A week after a plunge went astray on Mishani Mental, the two-year-old shocked his trainer after winning the QTIS 2YO and a $100,000 bonus at Doomben.
The plunge was on seven days earlier for no result but Mishani Mental bounced back at Doomben on Saturday, winning the QTIS 2YO (1100m) and a $100,000 bonus from Aquis in the process.
